Tobacco is a drug. Most people are aware how deadly and dangerous it can be. In fact, it is so dangerous that most public buildings and places have outlawed it. For some reason though people still continue to smoke and every year more teens try this filthy habit. Millions of people worldwide die and are dying from tobacco use. Your best protection is knowledge. Focus on one aspect of tobacco and research it. Let's all lead a smoke free life!

A TITLE PAGE: Include colour, border, full name, class, date, picture, teacher's name and title.

B TABLE OF CONTENTS: List the various sections of your project. Include page numbers indicating where each section can be found.

C INFORMATION: Statistics & facts. Support your opinions with good information. Be clear with the information you present.

D GRAPH: Show some of your statistics or information on a pie, bar or line graph.

E PICTURES: Include at least 3 diagrams or pictures. (excluding the title page)

F DEFINITIONS: Give definitions for the following:

nicotine - cancer - addiction - 2nd hand smoke - tumor - prevention - peer pressure - emphysema -

G BIBLIOGRAPHY: Last page in the project. Use the proper format. Check here All entries must be in alphabetical order by the author's last name. Use at least: 3 sources of information (two different types) i.e. internet & books.

Æ The project must include at least 3 pages of information.

Æ The project must be handed in stapled or in a duotang.

Æ The required information listed above is a minimum requirement only. Additional information will merit higher marks.

Æ Only one side of the page is to be written on. Bonus marks will be given for typed work.
