Mr. Fitch’s Students' Limericks

The Spanish Son

There once was a man from Spain
Who liked to dance in the rain.
He exclaimed out loud.
"Why there isn't a cloud!"
His sadness, he could not restrain.

I once loaned someone a pen
But never got it back again.
One day I’ll attack.
I'll get my pen back
And plow through one thousand men.

There was a small boy from France
Who didn’t know how to dance.
The girls told him bad
Which made him mad.

They worked together
For none the better.
And now they’re married again.

There was a neat boy named Ian.

He thought it was real cool.
And nobody ever did see him.

There once was a man named Dave.
Who was always in a cave.
He ran out the door.
But there was no floor
He ended up in a wave.

PIG’S WIG

There once was a little pink pig.
She fancied herself in a wig.
She went to the store,
Tried on fifty more,
Found the right one, and started a jig.

MOONLIGHT WISH

I saw a streaming beam of light.
As it crossed the night skies
I stood there with closed eyes
Wished on it, with all my might.
